Facebook & SSD Recruiting Lunch and Networking Event

Facebook is partnering with the Services for Students with Disabilities office to invite students to join for an office hours lunch! This will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 11:30am – 2:30pm. Feel free to drop by any time during this block of time. There will be a Facebook recruiter present to answer any questions about Facebook, job and internship opportunities, resume review and submissions, etc. This is open to students of all majors! There will also be Facebook goodie bags for all and we will be raffling off an Oculus Go headset!

Lime Connect Webinar: Career Support Resources and Strategies for Disclosing a Disability to Employers

Lime Connect is a global non-profit organization that focuses on rebranding disability though achievement. Through their programs they offer networking opportunities, professional development, and a fellowship program for high achieving undergraduate students with disabilities. The webinar will offer additional information about the free career assistance resources Lime offers, and will address common concerns related to disclosing a disability to a future employer and strategies for doing so.
