Accommodations Reminders
There is no deadline to request or discuss your Accommodation Letters but you cannot use your accommodations until these steps have been completed so request your Accommodation Letters if you haven’t already.
Use our helpful resources to prepare to discuss your accommodations with your instructor. Watch a video or use our email template to start the conversation with your instructors. Communication with your instructors is a critical part of the accommodation process.
Concerns about your accommodations? Contact your Disabilities Services Coordinator (students without an assigned SSD Coordinator can contact ssd@austin.utexas.edu for support).
Scholarships, Internships, Research Opportunities and More!
Check out SSD’s new Padlet, where we share opportunities and resources that may be of interest to you. We are constantly updating the Padlet with new content so check back often.
Course Load Reduction (CLR)
CLR is an accommodation that allows students to drop a class for disability-related reasons as a non-academic Q drop. Drop deadlines still apply to this accommodation so talk to your instructor and review our website if you are considering dropping a course: https://disability.utexas.edu/course-load-reduction-and-medical-withdrawal/
