Classes for the Fall 2024 semester start on August 26th and your courses will become available to request in the D&A Student Portal on that day. More information on requesting your accommodation letters and discussing them with your instructors can be found on our Using Accommodations at UT webpage.
FOR MISCELLANEOUS ACCOMMODATION LETTERS: Graduate and Professional Program students (Dell Medical/Pharmacy/Nursing) still need to submit the Miscellaneous Accommodation Letter Request Form separately for necessary staff members. You will find the request form and instructions in the D&A Student Portal, as well.
It’s the first class day and I don’t see my classes?
It can take 3-5 business days for all of your courses to show in the portal. Please reach out to your Access Coordinator if it’s been over 5 business days. Reasons why your courses may not be in the portal:
- You haven’t confirmed your enrollment. This may mean you have yet to pay your tuition bill or you need to speak with your academic advisor regarding other issues.
- You switched or added a class recently. Our system is unable to automatically sync updates to your course schedule, so it may take a few days for the updated course to show up in the portal.
- If your request is shown as “Pending,” this likely means an instructor hasn’t been assigned to the course in the UT Course Schedule. We are working to update course instructors as the information becomes available, so you have access to your accommodation letter. We encourage you to download a copy of your letter and email it to your instructor while we update information.
If you see messaging that your accommodations have expired, you should contact your Access Coordinator to check on your current status with D&A.
