This resource includes a variety of maps, including an online accessibility map that helps identify accessible pathways and doors to buildings.
Parking
The Parking and Transportation Services website has a dedicated page for Disability/ ADA parking information that includes a parking map and information about how to obtain an accessible permit for parking on campus.

Disability Cultural Center
The Disability Culture Center (DCC) serves as a hub on campus for community, education and advocacy for disabled students, faculty, staff and all members of the university community. The DCC works to create and sustain a sense of belonging for disabled people who study, teach and work at UT. In collaboration with campus partners, the DCC strives to create a community where disability is respected and valued as an important part of our campus community, and accessibility is built into the structure and design of all aspects of campus life.

Longhorn TIES Neurodiversity Support
Launched in 2019, the Longhorn TIES (Transition, Empower, Success) program within New Student Services coordinates and facilitates neurodiversity initiatives at The University of Texas at Austin. Individuals may identify with one of several neurodivergent diagnoses, including but not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder, Tourette’s Syndrome, and more.
Longhorn TIES encompasses: comprehensive and drop-in student supports, faculty and staff support, the Neurodiversity Leadership Council, presentations and training, and more.
Sanger Learning Center
Sanger Learning Center is UT Austin’s main resource for academic support. Offerings include one on one or drop-in tutoring, learning specialist meetings, peer academic coaches, and free classes and workshops.
Undergraduate Writing Center (UWC)
UWC provides individual and professional advice on all aspects of writing to UT undergraduates on a drop-in basis or by appointment. They also offer an online service, VIRGIL, which may be helpful for those students writing papers at 2 a.m.
Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC)
The Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) is committed to serving UT’s student community. CMHC provides counseling, psychiatric, consultation and prevention services that facilitate students’ academic and life goals by enhancing their personal well-being.
Professional staff includes licensed clinicians from a variety of mental health disciplines including licensed professional counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers.
Voices Against Violence
Voices Against Violence (VAV) offers comprehensive violence prevention and response programs. VAV addresses issues of interpersonal violence, such as sexual violence, dating violence, and stalking. VAV aims to provide the campus with tools to identify and interrupt interpersonal violence, support survivors, and build a campus that values and promotes healthy relationships and consent. University Health Services
UHS provides medical care and patient education to currently enrolled UT Austin students. The high-quality medical facility is staffed by licensed professionals including physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and board-certified physicians practicing in the areas of family medicine, internal medicine, sports medicine and women’s health.
The Center for Student in Recovery (CSR)
The Center for Students in Recovery provides a supportive community where students in recovery and in hope of recovery can achieve academic success while enjoying a genuine college experience free from alcohol and other drugs.
The Longhorn Wellness Center (LWC)
The Longhorn Wellness Center addresses priority college health issues and offers programming to promote student well-being. Focus areas include alcohol and other drugs, bystander intervention, healthy sexuality, interpersonal violence prevention, mental health, mindfulness, physical health and nutrition, sleep, suicide prevention and well-being in learning environments. The Longhorn Wellness Center provides UT students with workshops, peer education and support, resources, and opportunities to get involved.
Student Emergency Services
The Student Emergency Services works with campus and community organizations to provide a number of services to assist students and, in some cases, their families and friends during an emergency or crisis situation. These services may include provision of limited emergency funds, assistance with academic issues, outreach and advocacy for students, and coordination with other relevant UT offices.
Student Veteran Services
Student Veteran Services in the Office of the Dean of Students is dedicated to providing veterans, military personnel and their family members with the support needed to make the most of their educational experience.
Student Ombuds Services
The Office of the Student Ombuds only serves currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. They can also assist faculty, staff, alumni, and parents with questions about student-related concerns.
