When is Priority Registration?
Monday, Nov. 3, 2 p.m.-Midnight
Action Items to Use Priority Registration
Action items for undergraduate students to complete for priority registration:
- Clear academic advising holds prior to November 3. If your holds are not cleared, you will not be able to register for classes. If your major requires advising, you must meet with an advisor within your department to have your advising hold cleared. If you are not sure if this applies to you, please contact your college.
- Check your Registration Information Sheet (RIS) for any additional holds. Texas One Stop provides more detailed information on their Resolving Holds webpage.
- Check your Registration Information Sheet (RIS) to ensure your first registration time slot shows Nov. 3 from 2 p.m.-Midnight. If you do not see the priority registration time slot, you must:
- Email your Access Coordinator (or access@austin.utexas.edu if you are unsure of your Coordinator) by Thursday, Oct. 30, by 5 p.m.
- Once your email is received, they will work with the Registrar to correct the issue.
- Be sure to select the semester for which you are registering (Spring 2026). Do not select the current semester (Fall 2025) as registration for this semester has already taken place.
Questions about course selection or wait lists should be addressed with your academic advisor, as D&A cannot answer these types of questions.
